Tenth Year Anniversary (Grand Brevunion)
Hi Brevs,
Just want to have your opinions and suggestions on this. Since we're going on our 10th year, what would you say if we had a Grand Reunion of all the Brevs! All who have joined the group way back April 1999 until the present. This would be a great chance for us in strengthening our group more and a chance to meet all the Breviarians that have made this group to where it is now.
You can give us your opinions or suggestions with regards to this event here at our website or you could approach one of the brev leaders. The brev leaders would be collating all your suggestions and opinions on this so that we could come up with a decision that would make this event a memorable one for all of us. We're thinking of making this event before Brevstock 10. That would be by December. However, we are still open for your suggestions. Please send all your opinions and suggestions to this site until May 31 and we'll have a discussion with regards to this.
Final results will be given out on this site and will be announced every Sunday on our fellowship. Let us be one again and be whole this coming 10th year anniversary of ours. This is the time that we become one body in Christ and let Christ see how many people want to serve him in this group.

this idea for the brev homecoming is not mine... naisip ni paeng toh... bakit hndi nlng tyo mgoutreach ng dec 18? tpos 19 nlng yung awarding? naisip lng nman... hehehe.... im not really sure kung pwde ako... kc i'd be going back to school pero i'll check pa the scheds... 8tch8 brev!!
Breviarian Homecoming Update
Hi Fellow Brevs,
Here's the Update for our Homecoming. Our reunion will happen for three days. A series of events you wouldn't want to miss. Upon the schedule of most of the brevs, we have considered the dates to be Dec.18-20. Schedule will be as follows:
Dec. 18 - Formal Dinner , an Awards and Recognition night (Red Carpet)
Dec. 19 - Brevstock 10 , a Homecoming Concert where you'll see some of the greatest repeat performances of the past Brevstock Concerts.
Dec. 20 - Brev all day outing. A beach party outing at Paradiso. Bonding and getting to know activities awaits all of us.
My fellow Brevs, these activities will help strengthen our bond and rekindle the Brev spirit in us. Let's all re-live the first-hand friendship we had. I for one missed you all. I hope to see everyone and have our stories to tell with each other! See yah all!

Ei i edited yung blog and ni-extend namin pagtanggap ng mga ideas and suggestions. Pwede rin suggestion mo kuya Bj. What do you guys think of Dec.17? Sabi din pala ni Bro.A parang maganda kung tawagin nating Alumni Homecoming ng Brevs eto, kasi talagang iniisip na lahat pumunta. Pati mga nasa abroad kung kakayanin. In preparation din para malakas ang support ng Brevstock 10 natin! All will be there. Although wala pang date for Brevstock pero pag-usapan din namin ito. Kay kuya Alex pa lang nagbibigay ng mga ideas eh. Ask ko iba. :)

yup kung pwede sana this year na. suggestion ng nakararami eh bandang December 2009. kasi maraming uuwi ng baguio by then. June sana pero maxadong late na prep tsaka maraming wala. maganda para during the whole year round celebration ng ating 10th year. diba magandang makita at makilala lahat ng naging brevs all these 10 years? kaya sana lahat maimbita ninyo at makagawa tayo ng mga committees na pwedeng tumulong dito. as of now di pa kasi kami nakakapag-usap din ng ibang mga leaders. sana gusto din nila. pero may approval na kay bro.a. hehe...
hay naku hindi pwedeng nahihiya-hiya dito. brev ka garud...hahah...diba nga once a brev..always a brev! sana makabigay din kayo in inputs. :)

Yup kung pwede saturday night para masaya hehe...well im thinking din we could also move the date till December. well just a thought para sabi nga nung iba Christmas break marami pwedeng umuwi lalo na yung mga brevs from abroad. hehe...

i just received a text message, no idea kung kanino yung number, anyway, it reads:
TRES MARIAS CATERING - full setup catering for 50 persons for as low as Php 13,000.00. saan ang tres marias? manila?
Suggestions
There's this place right in front of giligans, papasok ng eskinita, can't remember the name pero ok din dun.
For all those who can get in touch with the old brevs, start getting their contact numbers and let them know about the event.
I'd prefer to have the event near the end of May para makasama pa ko tska para hindi pa tag ulan... pero schedule conflict ata with bigtent.
Do we plan to have this on a saturday evening?
Also, for all those who have old pictures of the brevs, start collecting them. I want to scan all of them when I get back.
For those who can drive and have vehicles, it would be great if we could have a service running. One suggestion of kuya Alex nung last time tayo nag formal event is sana sinundo natin ung mga old brevs. Kasi siyempre nahihiya na ung mga un pumunta dahil walang kakilala... so better kung masusundo natin. Especially for the girls, who will be in dresses and heels... medyo mahirap ata mag jeepney.
Maybe we could have a competition for the current brevs... paramihan ng masama na old brevs. It would also be great if we could get performances from the different batches. Getting them to perform would make them feel part of the event and would lessen the chances of them backing out.

Venue...
For the venue:
Prince plaza hotel has a huge hall that can accommodate us all. P3,500/ table (10 pax), pero good food.
Supreme Hotel, not so sure about the food but according to Kardo may curfew ang band
Atenara House, very classic ang ambiance pero maliit yung place. we can probably have their all you can eat buffet mga P470/ person...pero roast beef buffet.
Safari Lodge, too far, unless we can guarantee travel service for everyone okay lang siguro.
Oh my Gulay, should we agree on a formal attire, kawawa yung mga babae dahil malamang pamatay mga high heeled shoes nila dahil na din sa taas ng place (no elevator).
Cap building, okay sa rooftop. overlooking session road. I just cant be sure if they provide tables, last time kasi parang chairs lang.
John Hay Amphitheatre, outdoors, good for picnic, malamok sa gabi...nyehehe. dala tayo ng madaming katol. Nalammin idiay ti rabbii nya!

board exams...
heheh...don't worry nanggaling na din ako sa dilemmang ganyan. this event will relax your mind during a gruesome studying and pagsusunog ng kilay. sabi nga nila sometimes the brain needs to rest just to make it function better. kaya yan one night lang to, and we promise you would really enjoy and have fun here. take time for yourselves during studies pero xempre wag mas maraming pahinga kesa sa studies dapat balanse lang. kaya ang mapapayo ko sa mga magboboard exams study and relax hard. take note dalawa yan at hindi pwedeng paghiwalayin during preparations for the board haha... i should know kasi i almost gotten crazy nung puro study ginawa ko. thank God for the brevs that relaxed my mind. so Brev it up and in advance i congratulate you in passing the board exams!!! you deserve it!
